From luxury domestic home entertainment rooms to high-traffic commercial hospitality venues, our tight-knit team transforms natural granite and engineered quartz into stunning, durable surfaces that command attention.
The Passion for Granite Standards
Engineering Efficient Worktops & Spaces
Material Choice for High-Traffic Surfaces
Commercial bar tops and serving counters face unique structural challenges, including continuous glass impact, acidic citrus juice spills, and heavy surface abrasions. Engineered quartz is exceptionally popular for interior bars due to its non-porous surface consistency and absolute resistance to alcohol or food staining. For external bar tops or luxury al fresco dining spaces, we use premium natural granite to guarantee complete UV stability and total weather resistance.
Complex Shaping, Overhangs & Support Requirements
Professional bar counters frequently require deep front overhangs to comfortably accommodate bar stools and legroom. Because natural stone and quartz are incredibly heavy, any overhang extending past a standard cabinet depth must be structurally supported by reinforced steel brackets or a heavy duty timber framework. Our stonemasons calculate these load weights during fabrication to ensure your layout is entirely safe and structurally sound.
Seamless Integration of Under-Counter Equipment
odern bar environments require complex cut-outs for beer pumps, post-mix lines, under-counter commercial glasswashers, and integrated drip trays. We combine advanced workshop CNC machinery with hand-finished artistry to execute these intricate cuts with absolute, millimeter-level precision, preserving the structural integrity of the stone while allowing for a completely flush and clean equipment installation.

Specialist FAQs
Common Questions About Custom Stone Features
Our team are always on hand to help answer any questions you may have. Read our frequently asked questions, or contact us to have a chat.
What is a mitred apron or waterfall edge, and can it be used on a bar top?
A mitred apron involves cutting the edge of the horizontal stone counter and a vertical piece of stone at a 45-degree angle, joining them seamlessly to make a standard 20mm or 30mm slab look incredibly thick and luxurious (e.g., a 100mm deep edge profile). A waterfall edge continues this stone down to the floor at the end of the counter. Both features are highly popular for custom bars and can be easily fabricated in our workshop.
Do you handle the cut-outs for commercial beer fonts and optic rails?
Yes, we precision-drill all required holes for beer taps, soda lines, python systems, and electrical data points directly into the stone at our workshop. We simply require the technical data sheets or the physical templates of your chosen equipment to be available on-site during our templating appointment to ensure a flawless match.
Can you fabricate custom stone steps, window sills, or wall copings?
Yes. Our specialist stone masonry extends far beyond worktops. Our artisan stonemasons can customise slabs for matching stone window sills, durable step treads, fireplace hearths, cladding panels, and wall copings. If you have a specific design concept involving granite or quartz, our team has the technology and experience to execute it.
