Excellent service from start to finish. David came and templated, took notes for all details on the worktop that were needed and then installed a week later. Flawless service and will happily use again and recommend to others.

Heritage & Modern Textures
Honouring Oxfordshire's Unique Buildings & Character
he materials you select should suit the architectural character of your home. Oxfordshire requires a careful balance between respecting heritage and embracing modern design.
For Oxfordshire’s heritage homes, such as the golden Cotswold stone cottages in Burford, historic townhouses in Woodstock, and rural barn conversions near Chipping Norton, natural granite worktops offer a unique sense of quality. The distinctive mineral patterns and veining in granite pair well with features like oak beams, flagstone floors, and traditional range cookers, giving the space a lasting, authentic feel.
Oxfordshire also leads in modern, sustainable homes and contemporary glass-fronted designs, as seen in eco-developments in Bicester and new extensions in Henley-on-Thames. For these spaces, engineered quartz is a popular choice. It offers consistent patterns across large surfaces, clean edge profiles, and a durable, non-porous finish that stands up to everyday use.
The Fabrication Pipeline
Seamless Transit & Precision Fitting
Our main stone workshop and slab gallery are based at Stanford Farm in Biggleswade. Our team regularly installs worktops throughout Oxfordshire, using the A421, A43, and M40 for efficient transport. We organise site surveys and deliveries to fit your schedule.
We use digital templating to accurately measure your kitchen cabinets. This information lets our stonemasons complete all cutting, sink cutouts, and edge finishing in our workshop, so there is no mess on site and installation is quick and tidy.
Specific Planning & Technical Questions
Our team are always on hand to help answer any questions you may have. Read our frequently asked questions, or contact us to have a chat.
How do you handle templating for older Oxfordshire properties with uneven or bowed walls?
We use digital templating equipment to capture the exact shape of your walls. Traditional wooden templates can leave room for error, especially in older or character properties. Our process records exact measurements, so our stonemasons can cut the back edges of your granite or quartz worktops to follow the unique contours of your room.
What is the standard turnaround time between measuring and final installation?
All fabrication is carried out in our own workshop, so we do not depend on outside suppliers. We usually fit your finished stone surfaces within 7 to 10 working days after taking site measurements.
Are seamless joins possible on large central kitchen islands with breakfast bars?
If a kitchen island is longer than a single slab of stone, usually about 3 metres, a joint will be needed. Our masons are skilled at placing seams carefully and matching patterns. We use consecutive slabs from the same block so the veining runs naturally across the joint, and bond them with colour-matched epoxy for a discreet finish.
Can you fabricate custom stone elements for non-kitchen spaces?
Yes, we can. Our workshop is set up to produce a wide range of bespoke stone features. We often make moisture-resistant stone vanities for bathrooms, matching splashbacks, wall cladding, utility upstands, and durable natural stone hearths for fireplaces.
