Bespoke Granite & Quartz Worktops

Quality Granite and Quartz Worktops in Harpenden

Only 20 Miles From Our Showroom
Properties in Harpenden range from period homes with smaller, more traditional kitchens through to modern new builds with open plan layouts, and we fit both granite and quartz across the full range. Granite tends to suit older properties well, the natural variation in colour and pattern sits comfortably with a period kitchen. Quartz is often the better fit for newer, larger kitchens where a consistent look across a long run of worktop matters more. We’re happy to quote both for the same layout so you can see the difference in person before choosing. Semi detached and terraced homes across Harpenden make up a good share of our work, most going for a straightforward granite or quartz upgrade.

This is our first project with passion for granite and we have found them very helpful and obliging so we will be using them soon on our next two projects

Fitting Granite and Quartz Worktops Across Harpenden

Passion for Granite has been supplying granite and quartz worktops from our Biggleswade workshop for years, and Harpenden is a regular part of our working area rather than a one off trip. We template every job properly, whether that’s a home visit, a video call, or working from architect drawings, then fabricate and fit the stone ourselves. Homeowners across Harpenden use us for kitchen refits and bathroom upgrades, while developers, landlords and trade contractors come to us for larger or repeat projects. Whether it’s a single family kitchen or a full commercial refit, Harpenden clients deal with the same workshop team throughout.

The Passion for Granite Guarantee

Resealing granite once a year is enough to keep it resistant to oil, wine and general staining, and it's a straightforward job. Quartz doesn't need sealing at all, a wipe with warm soapy water keeps it in good order. Where a kitchen or commercial unit sees heavy daily use, that lower maintenance often makes quartz the sensible choice, although granite still holds strong appeal for its natural look. Either surface copes fine with a hot pan for a moment, though a trivet is still sensible daily practice.
