Bespoke Granite & Quartz Worktops

Hitchin Homes Fitted With Granite and Quartz Worktops

Only 10 Miles From Our Showroom
Hitchin properties range from smaller terraced kitchens to substantial open plan extensions, and granite and quartz both do well depending on which you’re working with. Granite works particularly nicely in older or more traditional kitchens, where its natural veining and colour depth suit the setting. Quartz is usually the stronger choice for bigger, more modern layouts, where a consistent surface across a longer run of worktop looks tidier. We quote both options for every Hitchin kitchen so you can compare properly before committing either way. Semi detached and terraced homes across Hitchin make up a good share of our work, most going for a straightforward granite or quartz upgrade.

Second time using them now, this time for a bathroom. The worktop looks brilliant and the fit was spot on first time. Old kitchen looked tired next to the new worktop, so we've redone the cupboards too now. Glad we didn't just go with the cheapest quote.

Granite & Quartz WorktopsHitchin

Serving Hitchin Kitchens, Bathrooms and Commercial Spaces

Passion for Granite fits granite and quartz worktops in and around Hitchin as part of our normal working week, not as a special job. We are a small, family run team based in Biggleswade, and every worktop is templated to the room it’s going into before being cut and finished in our own workshop. Fitting is done by the same craftsmen who cut the stone. We work with homeowners, trade contractors, property developers and commercial clients in Hitchin, and treat a single kitchen job with the same care as a larger fit out. Trade contractors working in Hitchin appreciate that we stick to agreed timescales, which makes it easier to plan the rest of a build around us.

The Passion for Granite Guarantee

Granite is easy enough to maintain, an annual reseal is all that's needed to keep staining at bay from everyday cooking and spills. Quartz takes even less looking after, just warm soapy water to keep it looking new. Commercial kitchens and busy homes often favour quartz for that reason, though we still fit plenty of granite for customers who simply prefer the character of natural stone. Either option should easily outlast the kitchen it's fitted into, with the right basic care.

Quotes are built from whatever information you can give us, drawings, rough measurements, or photos of the space, and come back itemised so the breakdown of stone, fabrication and fitting is clear. We agree a lead time before booking anything in. If you’d like to pick your slab in person, our Biggleswade workshop is open to visitors and we’re happy to talk you through the options without any pressure to commit there and then. We’re happy to liaise directly with your builder or kitchen fitter if that makes the whole job easier.
