Bespoke Granite & Quartz Worktops

Granite and Quartz Worktops, Made for Wellingborough Kitchens

Only 40 Miles From Our Showroom
We run a family owned stonemasonry workshop in Biggleswade, supplying granite and quartz worktops to Wellingborough on a regular working basis. Templating is done to your exact kitchen or bathroom, fabrication happens in our own workshop, and fitting is carried out by the same people who cut the stone, so there’s continuity through the whole job. Our Wellingborough customers include homeowners upgrading a kitchen, landlords preparing a rental property, and developers or trade contractors working on bigger schemes. Trade contractors working in Wellingborough appreciate that we stick to agreed timescales, which makes it easier to plan the rest of a build around us.

Both Lucie and David were incredibly patient and helpful in choosing the right worktop and the service was so quick, really impressed.

Granite and Quartz Worktops for Wellingborough Kitchens and Bathrooms

Wellingborough kitchens come in all shapes, from compact galley kitchens in older terraces to large open plan spaces in newer builds. Quartz is generally the better call for bigger, open plan layouts, since the pattern and colour repeat consistently across a long worktop. Granite suits smaller or more traditional kitchens particularly well, where the natural stone character adds interest rather than needing to blend into a big uniform surface. Either way, we quote both granite and quartz for every Wellingborough enquiry so you’re comparing like for like before deciding. Larger detached homes around Wellingborough sometimes go for a mix, granite in the main kitchen and quartz in a utility room or boot room.

The Passion for Granite Guarantee

With granite, a yearly reseal is all it takes to keep oil, wine and everyday spills from leaving marks, and it's a quick job once you know how. Quartz skips that step entirely, staying low maintenance with just warm water and a cloth. If you're running a busy household or a commercial kitchen, that difference can matter, though plenty of people still choose granite for the natural finish alone. Heat resistance is good on both, though direct contact with very hot pans should still be avoided.

Getting started is straightforward, send drawings if you’ve got them, or just measurements and some photos, and we’ll return an itemised quote covering everything from the raw slab to the finished fit. We agree lead times before any booking is confirmed. If seeing the actual stone matters to you, our Biggleswade workshop is open for visits and there’s no obligation attached to coming along. If your project involves other trades, we’ll coordinate fitting day around them where we can.
